We used data from Ward and Slaney (1989) to develop a size-dependent logistic scalar for smolt-to-adult survival. The function was scaled such that average sized smolts (i.e. 175 mm) survived at a rate equal to the average SAR observed for Yakima Basin steelhead. This rate is approximately 3%.
