Here’s the Easton map again converted to areas of suitable habitat-- This one for steelhead sub-yearlings during both the winter and summer which were represented by different HSC. Again, the habitat availability you see here, at 300 cfs, is based on suitable combinations of depths and velocities.

In order for the YRDSS to be able to use this information the calculated areas for every species/life stage, and for every flow modeled, are placed in a look-up table which is contained on the separate “Reach” pages of the which you saw earlier.
