Can flows explain annual variation in survival to return of short-term and Yakima direct program kelts? April-June flow period chosen arbitrarily – just happens to be period for which I had a ready data set. Winter and early spring flows and temperatures during holding and spawning might be expected to have a greater affect on kelt survival.
