Future Restoration Actions

SITE SUITABILITY AND DESIGN:
Four restoration actions include: removing riprap along the river & doing riparian plantings, installing large woody material, restoring fish passage into Nelson Creek, and improving the connection to the upper and lower pond/wetland complex. These pond complexes are perfect for future coho salmon acclimation sites. Some weed control work will be required in the meadow area in support of work the current landowners have begun.
