CWU will construct a footbridge to Gladmar Park in order to restore public access to the area.
CWU does plan to have long-term scientific research projects taking place on the park property and so to minimize damage to the research projects CWU will ensure that signage clearly delineates areas that are open or closed to the public.
The Kittitas County Conservation District owns approximately 5 acres of Gladmar Park and has indicated interest in partnering with CWU on education, research and restoration projects. A separate agreement will be discussed in the future
