2011 Klickitat and White Salmon Rivers (WA Gorge) Fisheries and Watershed Science Conference

The Yakima/Klickitat Fisheries Project, Bonneville Power Administration and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service are pleased to present the fourth annual Klickitat and White Salmon Rivers Fisheries and Watershed Science Conference at The Gorge Discovery Center in The Dalles, OR on Mar. 15, 2011. The scope has expanded somewhat this year to encompass watersheds on the Oregon side of the Columbia Gorge.

Presentation topics this year will range from Powerdale Dam removal on the Hood River to Mt. Adams glacial retreat to water availability to cutting edge habitat enhancement, mainstem Columbia River fish predation studies and fish facility improvements on the Klickitat, as well as results of fish passage inventory and tributary habitat restoration work. As always, topics represent the work of a spectrum of agencies and organizations.

The YKFP would like to thank our partners as well as The Discovery Center for helping to make this exciting event possible, and we look forward to seeing attendees at this year's conference.
